University of Dodoma Grants One-Week Extension for Student Registration
The University of Dodoma (UDOM) has announced an official extension for the Semester I registration deadline for the 2024/2025 academic year. Initially, the deadline was set to be two weeks after the semester began on November 2, 2024, in accordance with the UDOM Undergraduate Programmes Regulations (2019, revised 2022).
However, recognizing that some students faced difficulties completing their registration on time, the university has granted a one-week extension.
With this adjustment, students now have the opportunity to complete their registration from February 3 to February 9, 2025. The new deadline applies to all colleges, schools, and institutes within UDOM.
Key Registration Guidelines for UDOM Students
To ensure a smooth registration process, students must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Mandatory Online Registration
All unregistered students must complete their registration via the UDOM-SR2 portal at https://sr2.udom.ac.tz before the final deadline of February 9, 2025.
2. Collection of Student Identity Cards
Students who have successfully registered are required to collect their student ID cards from their respective college, school, or institute administration offices without delay.
3. Strict Examination Regulations
Students who do not possess a valid student identity card will not be permitted to:
- Attend Continuous Assessments (CAs)
- Sit for tests
- Participate in End-of-Semester I University Examinations
4. No Further Extensions Will Be Granted
Students who fail to complete their registration by February 9, 2025, will face academic consequences, including possible deferral.
5. Adherence to University Regulations
All students are expected to comply with the UDOM Regulations for Undergraduate Programmes (2019, revised 2022), which are available at https://www.udom.ac.tz.
Final Reminder to All UDOM Students
The university urges students to take this extension seriously and complete their registration before the final deadline. This extension is an opportunity for those who were unable to meet the initial deadline due to unforeseen challenges.
For further inquiries or assistance, students are advised to contact their respective college, school, or institute administration. Additional updates will be provided through official UDOM communication channels.
This announcement has been issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research, and Consultancy), University of Dodoma, on February 3, 2025.
