Programmes Available for the March 2025/2026 Intake
A: Three-Year Diploma (NTA Level 4, 5 & 6)—For Form Four Leavers
Available Programmes:
- Diploma in Accountancy
- Diploma in Finance and Banking

- Diploma in Information Technology
- Diploma in Human Resources Management
Minimum Entry Qualifications:
- Completion of Form IV with at least four passes in relevant subjects OR
- NVTA Level III certification
- Students admitted will commence at NTA Level 4
B: Two-Year Diploma (NTA Level 5)—For Form Six and NTA Level 4 Leavers
Available Programmes:
- Diploma in Accountancy
- Diploma in Finance and Banking
- Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management
- Diploma in Business Management
- Diploma in Computer Science
- Diploma in Information Technology
- Diploma in Multimedia
- Diploma in Human Resources Management
Minimum Entry Qualifications:
- Completion of Form VI with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass in relevant subjects, with a total point score of at least 1.5 based on the following grading system:
- From 2014 onwards: A = 5, B+ = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, E = 0.5, F = 0
- Before 2014: A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1, S = 0.5, F = 0
- An equivalent certificate with a second-class grade or B average
- NTA Level 4 qualification
- Students admitted will commence at NTA Level 5

- Follow the step-by-step application and signup process
- Upload all required academic certificates
2. Manual Application:
- Download the application form from www.iaa.ac.tz
- Fill out the form and submit it to the admissions office for processing
Application Fee
- Certificate and Diploma Applicants: TZS 10,000 (Ten Thousand Shillings only)
- Payments should be made through the Institute’s bank accounts using a control number generated from the IAA website under the “Payment Portal” section
- Payments can be made at CRDB Bank, NBC Bank, or NMB Bank
