The Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) has launched a groundbreaking hybrid training on Communicating Mobility and Access Research for Policy and Public Impact in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This 8-week intensive program aims to equip early-career researchers, including Master’s and PhD scholars, with essential skills to translate research findings into impactful, policy-driven messages.

Empowering Researchers for Greater Influence

The training is designed to help participants craft compelling research presentations using visuals and other advanced communication tools.

It also focuses on adapting communication strategies for different audiences, particularly policymakers, to drive transformative change in transport and mobility sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa.

A Prestigious Collaboration for Academic Excellence

This highly specialized training is made possible through the support of the Volvo Research and Educational Foundation (VREF), which is committed to empowering young African researchers in the effective dissemination of research insights.

Expert-Led Multidisciplinary Training

A distinguished multidisciplinary team of both local and international experts is spearheading the training. The MMU team includes:
