UDOM Grants Three-Day Extension for First Semester Registration
The University of Dodoma (UDOM) has officially extended the registration period for Semester I of the 2024/2025 academic year.
This extension comes as a relief to students who, due to various circumstances, were unable to register within the initial deadline.
The new registration window runs from 21st to 23rd February 2025, marking 23rd February as the final deadline for all students across UDOM’s colleges, schools, and institutes.
This decision underscores UDOM’s commitment to ensuring all students have a fair opportunity to complete their registration and fully participate in academic activities.
Key Guidelines for Students Regarding Registration
All students must take note of the following:
-
Mandatory Online Registration:
- Unregistered students must complete their registration via the UDOM-SR2 system at https://sr2.udom.ac.tz before the extended deadline to avoid penalties or academic disruptions.
-
Student Identity Card Collection:
- All registered students are required to collect their studentship identity cards from their respective college, school, or institute administration blocks.
-
Examinations and Continuous Assessment:
- Students without a valid identity card will not be allowed to sit for continuous assessments, tests, or end-of-semester examinations.
-
Strict Adherence to UDOM Regulations:
- Students must comply with the University of Dodoma’s undergraduate program regulations (2019, revised 2022), which can be accessed at https://www.udom.ac.tz.
Why This Extension Matters
The registration extension reflects UDOM’s commitment to fostering a student-friendly academic environment by accommodating those who may have faced unexpected delays.
By providing this additional three-day period, UDOM ensures that all students have the opportunity to meet administrative requirements and focus on their academic journey.
However, students are strongly urged to complete their registration within the stipulated time, as no further extensions will be granted.
Final Notice
Failure to register within this extended period will result in serious academic consequences, and students who miss the deadline will be advised to postpone their studies (POS).
For any clarifications or technical support regarding online registration, students should contact their respective faculty offices or visit the university’s official website.
